On Saturday, October 22, we went to Stades Farm for their Shades of Autumn Festival. It was a gorgeous sunny day with temps in the 50s. We ate roasted corn, enjoyed the rides, ran through kiddie hay mazes, played in kernals of corn, watched in amazement as they shot pumpkins 300 feet plus from a cannon, and simply enjoyed the day together as a family.

Mommy and Isaiah were right behind them.
The kids loved walking on top of the hay bales.
Selah had so much fun in the corn kernals.

The boys hung out together.
Selah loved riding the pony.
And so did Sofia.
It was a fun day!
This past Saturday Kevin was in the U.P. fishing with his dad so I took the kids by myself to Royal Oak Farm. We have enjoyed going apple picking here for the past four years. Again, we were blessed with a sunny day but it was a bit cooler with temps only in the 40s. This was Isaiah's first year picking apples. After picking apples we headed to the play area to enjoy a snack of apple cider doughnuts, apples, and apple cider.

The trees were ready for the picking.
Isaiah was a bit frustrated when he couldn't pull the apple off the branch.
Enjoying his successful pick.
They were so delicious. This year we picked Enterprise apples.
Selah was under a tree enjoying her snack.
Isaiah LOVED the truck in the play area.
Oops. I missed his smiling face.
Slide time!
And the ever favourite play house for the girls.
