Passion.

Have you ever looked up the definition of passion?
I would venture to say that the majority of people associate passion with love relationships.
But look up the word passion.

In the Merriam-Webster dictionary, the definition of passion in association with love is number 5.  The number 1 definition:
"the sufferings of Christ between the night of the Last Supper and his death".

Now, no doubt, if you are a believer you get that Christ's passion IS LOVE.  Ultimate love.  Sacrifical love.

But how is passion lived out in my life.  Is it only for a love of my flesh or is it a love for my God, my Lord?
