Gospel Cupcakes
There are a few of us in this city learning the same language. All of us interact in someway and somehow at different times throughout the week. Therefore, we have come to know one another.
The week before Christmas, we hosted the language teachers and their students for a Christmas party.
It wasn't fancy and the decorations definitely were not BH&G standard but it was a sweet time of sharing with our dear friends about why we celebrate Christmas.
It was a sweet time of sharing life, talking and laughing about our language faux pas. However, the sweetest time of all was when Keri was able to share in the learn(ing) language about the greatest gift given to ALL OF US.
She used gospel cupcakes to walk through our need (brown), the sacrifice given on our behalf (red), acceptance of this sacrifice/forgiveness and the cleansing of our sin (white) and then how we can grow in our understanding of His great love (green).
Our prayer is that the ears that heard would believe.
And we have confidence in knowing that His Word does not go out void.
