Our visa to live in our country was to expire on February 21. So, on February 18 we flew to Nairobi, Kenya. We were hoping to only be there a week. This, however, was not possible due to having to send our paperwork to the States, have it processed and then wait for it to return. Our time in Nairobi ended up being three weeks.
It turned out to be a relaxing three weeks. We had time to reflect, study, renew, interact with four other families who work with our people group and were on a visa run as well, see friends from 20 years ago, and some friends from Virginia who happened to be coming through Nairobi as well.
The highlight of the trip was going on a day safari. It will have a post of its own. Enjoy some pics.

| On the bus that took us to the plane out on the tarmac. Isaiah in particular LOVES flying. |
| First stop, a classic in Nairobi. Yummy food and DELISH drinks. |
| Kevin and I enjoyed fish (hadn't had it six months) and the kids enjoyed hot chocolate. |
| Most mornings we tried to do some homeschooling. |
| But really, we enjoyed shopping at the Masai Market. |
| Eating frozen yoghurt for lunch. |
| The Toy Market is a great place to get cheap clothes and shoes. |
| Isaiah with his buddy, Isaiah D., whose family was here for a visa run as well. |
| Most days were spent on the playground at our guesthouse. |
| Many, many hours were spent out here. |
| Our last dinner was back at Java House. |
| Can't go wrong with pancakes! |
We are thankful for such an amazing guesthouse, Hampton House. It was also fun to add another country to the kids list of places they have travelled (country #4) as well as say they have now been south of the Equator.:)
