Being that we have had to hang out in Nairobi, Kenya for a couple of weeks due to obtaining new visas, we thought it best to go ahead and have some medical check-ups (Kenya and South Africa are the two countries that seem to have the best medical and dental provision).
This morning all three kids were seen by Dr. Nesbitt. He is a very good pediatrician who took his time, listened, and much to Sofia's excitement, allowed her to help give Isaiah his eye test.
Here are the kids stats (metric is listed because this is what we have to get used to):
Sofia - age 9 yrs. 4 mos - 131 cm. (51 1/2 in.) - 25.9 kg (57lbs)
26th% 18th%
Selah - age 6 yrs. 6 mos - 113 cm. (44 1/2 in.) - 18.4 kg (40 lbs)
10th% 6th%
Isaiah - age 3 yrs. 9 mos - 101 cm. (39 1/2 in.) - 16.2 kg (35 lbs)
45th% 52%
Due to where we live, the dr. recommended the kids have their stools tested every so often (oh joy!) just to make sure they don't have any amoebas or bacterial infections. Other than that, they are growing and healthy. We are so thankful!!!!
